Visiting Munich

Munich, seated at the foot of the alps, is said to be one of Europe's busiest and liveliest cities. While visiting Munich be sure to visit Zugspitze which is the tallest mountain peak in Germany. It is a favorite for hikers, skiers, and bikers. Visit the site of the 1972 Olympics for great views of the city and of the Alps or pay homage to the Munich Massacre of the 1972 Olympic games in Munich. It is recommended that you purchase a combination ticket for the museums when possible. There is also plenty of nightlife in Munich. Munich is a performing arts center with many performances every night. There are also beer halls and any kind of dance music you could imagine.
